How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Love it!
I love the feel of the case. It’s soft, has a great grip and is not bulky. It was important to me to know what the case is made of (and not). I didn’t notice that it had small brown specks which I don’t care for but knowing this now, I would still buy it again.

I love this case!!
Absolutely adore this case. It fits perfectly on my phone and just feels really nice on my hands. Very protective and cute design. I was a little surprised that it looks very different than the pictures shown above, mine has brown straw flakes throughout it that are very prominent. I’ve come to get used to it though and everything else about the case is great. Love being able to reduce waste!! Thank you for your great work, Pela!

Love the blue ebb & flow case. It reminds me of the beach/ocean and functionally is nice as there is some texture to the pattern which gives some grip. This is my second case purchase, a great eco-conscious product... necessary for these times. Thank you, Pela!
