How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Pela review
Very good quality. Love the texture. I liked the green with trees better for the iPhone 11 though compared to the 13 case. It was a bit richer and darker. Feels like the price is a bit high though.

Great case, great mission
This is my second Pela case. This time I got the dark green engraved case and it’s great! I haven’t noticed any staining plus it’s beautiful and durable. Unfortunately my first Pela case (the yellow engraved bumble bee one) stains really bad when worn in jeans pockets. A few of my friends had the same issue with their lighter Pela cases, so I hope Pela can fix that since everything else about the case and the company is incredible! Just get a darker option if you plan to put your phone in your jeans pocket.

Soooo soft but good grip
This is the softest case I've ever owned and yet it has amazing grip. I've yet to drop it, but I know when I do my phone will be well-protected. Just a note with the design of the green summit case - the design on the back is etched, so you can feel it and it's more visible when the light is casting a shadow, but it's not super obvious that it's there at first. I still really like it:)
