I love the feel and color of my wallet. It’s not meant for you to pack a bunch of cards. It’s meant for some cash and 1 or 2 cards. That’s it.
I recently picked up the Lavender Mini Wallet from Pela, and honestly, I’m impressed. It’s super compact, just big enough to carry the essentials without bulging my pocket or bag. At first, the card slots felt a bit tight, but after a week of use, they softened just enough to hold my cards securely without worrying they’ll slip out.
The colour is gorgeous, soft lavender that looks fresh and calming. I also love how it feels in my hand: smooth, slightly grippy, and really comfortable. It’s the kind of wallet you don’t think about because it just works.
The best part for me is that it’s eco-friendly. Pela makes it from their compostable material, so I know I’m not contributing to more plastic waste. It’s nice to have something stylish and practical that also lines up with my values.
If I had to point out a downside, it’s that because it’s plant-based, I’m not sure how it will hold up compared to a traditional leather or synthetic wallet. But honestly, for the price and the sustainability factor, I think it’s worth it, even if I have to replace it a bit sooner.
Overall, it’s a simple, minimal, and thoughtful little wallet. Perfect if you want to travel light and feel good about the materials you’re carrying around.
