Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your iPad. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Love me some stormy blue.
I have a matching case for my phone and love the case cover. Other than wishing it had a cover to pevent scratches from occurring on the screen, its a great.

Love the product, ADORE the service
I love pela cases. Adorable and durable. But the service they provide is next level. There had been some good with my order in the system, and my case was taking a while to arrive. As soon as I contacted them about it, pela noticed the error, contacted me back, and practically overnighted my case to me. Very highly appreciated, because I am a total klutz with my techs thank you Pela!!
