A Case for the Environment

Pela is a proud member of 1% for the Planet, that means we will be donating at least 1% of our sales to environmental non-profit groups. 1% for the Planet’s mission is ‘to build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet.’

There are currently over 1,200 donating business members of 1% for the Planet. Over 100 of those members are Canadian businesses, including Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC), EnviroKidz by Nature’s Path, Frogbox, and Salt Spring Coffee. Pela is proud to be a member of such a forward-thinking community, and we look forward to seeing more businesses join to movement.
