Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Lomi and Pela Case = a dream come true
This case is so beautiful and protects my phone perfectly! The old one was getting really worn, so I just added it to Lomi and VOILA! It was turned into dirt! Amazing - no more landfill for my phone cases.

A Pretty Floral Case Perfect For Spring
Bought this when I felt I needed a floral case for spring and my old case was finally falling apart. The seashell looks more tan on the website, but when I opened it, it's a bit more peach and has a bit of pink. Not disappointed at all by this though, as I wasn't sold on the tan color but wanted to see it in person! Super gorgeous and durable, yet surprisingly flexible. Also it's so easy to take on and off.
