How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Perfect fit, fun design
First of all, the fit of the case is absolutely perfect! All the ports, switches and buttons are very nicely accessible, and the phone inside is just so... SNUG! I really doubt that much dust is going to get between the case and the phone with this thing. It's also super easy to take off and put back on as needed. The super cool trail sticker design looks just as good on the case as it does online. I was not sure I would be able to find a case for my phone at all since so many companies just gloss right over it at this point, but pela case really exceeded my expectations.
