Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Beautiful High-Quality Case
The case is really pretty and carefully handcrafted. Very good phone protection, as expected and experienced with my first case that served me well for several years until I switched phones. No fatty fingerprints, easy to clean, pleasant to touch. The colour is amazing, just as in the pictures. The only negative point: The delivery time was very long (or rather it was sent out with a two months’ delay after many emails with the support, then arrived after a few days). Still worth the wait!

Great product!
Very impressed with the fit and security of the case, the design is as cute as the picture. I especially love that this has built in screen protection due to the raised edges around the screen as well as camera lenses. I will buy from them in the future!
