How it Ships
Materials
The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

I like it! Snug fit on my phone for the most part; just one loose area by the lock button, but it doesn’t interfere with functionality or bother me. It has a smooth but organic texture. The case is flexible like silicone. Most importantly, I appreciate this company’s mission. The packaging was 100% plastic free as well, which is so rare. Works just as well as the one I had from Apple. I wish I had discovered this product sooner!

I love the case I was expecting it to be a hard case but it’s actually more of a silicone like texture but it looks super cute and kind of forms to your phone and it’s very protective.
