How it Ships
Materials
The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

I really like how durable and soft this case is. It has a slight bumpy texture from the use of recycled materials which I like because it makes it less likely to slip out of your hand. I would definitely buy this case again.

I purchased this to replace my old purple one that had simply worn out after years of use (it's gone to the composter). This is a darker colour so less likely to show the dirt, ha ha. Same design and texture that it does not slide when on a slick surface - love these cases!

I've had this case for three years and its held up super well. Its such a pretty color and feels lovely.
