How it Ships
Materials
The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Fun Case
This was the first Pela case I've put on my phone and I didn't realize this was going to be a textured case when I purchased it. The colors in the image a very accurate and the texture makes it easy to grip. My only issues so far was the inability to use a PopSocket or phone grip directly on this particular case and the worry that a trip to the floor might take out my screen if it hits just right. That's any case, really. Luckily, the PopSocket PopGrip Slide Stretch works perfectly with this case and the other case I purchased. I will be ordering and trying out their liquid screen protector when I make my next phone case purchase.

It’s purple, it’s got a mandala on it, it’s pretty 😍 It’s also really protective when I inevitably drop my phone. I bought it to replace one (grey with a shark and a plastic bottle) from about 5 years ago which was fine but I wanted this one. Buy one, they are brilliant 🤩
Exactly what I was looking for
This is the exact color I had hoped for. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and my old case, an Otter with the special mag charger built in, wouldn't stay on my phone. The edges got stretched out somehow and it wouldn't stay on. This new cover is durable, fits great, is cheaper than the Otter was, and bonus it still charges through the case even without the built-in! Pela's customer service is outstanding as well. Great products, great people!

I love sloths so this case is a perfect design for me. It's a bit bulkier than I expected and there's no button cover for the power button so it's no easy to use, but overall I really like the case.
