How it Ships
Materials
The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

I got this case and the card holder attachment to my boyfriend and his loves it. The material is really nice and protects his phone. The material is a bit slippery at first but I feel like the more use the less slippery it feels. I love the card attachment option. I ordered myself one too!
Great case
This is our third round of Pela cases. We have been using Pela cases for 5+ years, and they have been pretty durable. The only part that is vulnerable is the thin piece near the charging outlet, and the case still stays on if that piece breaks. The cases have also worked well at keeping our phones protected.

Excellent case
Was in need of a different case and this fit the bill! Not only is it environmentally friendly but it’s lighter than my UAG and easier to hold onto as well.
