How it Ships
Materials
The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

It has a nice grip to it, Fits well with my ever-changing style and allows me to drop my phone without fear of breaking it. Since I ordered from Germany, the shipping took very long, but waiting truly is worth it! I also love the environmentally friendly packaging and the kind message that came with it.

I bought my Pela case for the lowered environmental impact, expecting that I would be sacrificing some protection—I couldn’t have been more wrong!!! I’ve dropped my phone directly onto concrete TWICE, my phone and case weren’t damaged in either incident.
A good case
I’ve bought the case in a “buy one get one free” promotion which made the price of it fairly reasonable. The feel of it is very nice and soft. The only downside of it is that if I squeeze it from the sides it makes a sticky like sound which doesn’t happen with the other case I got.

There is some discoloration but
There is some discoloration but other than that I really like the texture and feel of this case! The cutouts are super accurate and of course the environmental aspect is the main reason why I purchased this case.
